Kelp-Helpers are an intelligent species of tiny sea creatures which live in a kind of symbiosis with the Snorks.
Biology[]
Kelp-Helpers are only a few centimeters long, about the same size as a Snork. They're purple in coloration and have a fish-like tail and a pair of humanoid arms. They feed mostly on algae.
Culture and society[]
Members of this species are commonly employed by Snork communities to clean the algae off their streets and prevent uncontrolled algal growth (which could attract Snorkeaters). In spite of their importance, however, Kelp-Helpers tend to be treated as lesser citizens. Many Snorks are prejudiced against them due to their slimy nature and consider them an inferior species, to the point that some commercial establishments flat-out forbid their entrance. Kelp-Helpers usually keep close to their own kind and don't interact much with Snorks as a result.
