Komodo Rhinos are animals bred both as beasts of burden and for their meat.
Overview[]
Komodo Rhinos are covered in thick, gray skin, which serves as natural protection for their body. Three large, curved horns dominate their faces; two curving down from their forehead and one curving upward from their snout. The creature's mouth and jaw structure look somewhat reptilian, but the small ears on either side of its head are mammalian. Their torsos resemble that of a rhinoceros, but ends in a long, dinosaur-like tail. The rhinos' feet are short, muscular and clawed. They are used during war as cavalry mounts, or as beasts of burden, often decorating them in red. Komodo Rhinos have been seen in many military operations. The animals are also used for their meat, often made into traditional Komodo Sausages. These spicy sausages are soaked in brine for weeks and stuffed with rice and a variety of spices. Because of their portability, they are frequently served at picnics and sporting events.
