Krudsky turned into a goblin.
The Amazing Krudsky was originally a stage magician without any real powers. He became an actual wizard after stealing the magic powers of Fairy Princess Willow, and later turned into a goblin by taking hold of the Goblin King's scepter, thus becoming the next Goblin King and an extraordinarily powerful being as a result.
History[]
Despite being just an illusionist, Krudsky dedicated his life to studying occult books and trying to unlock real magic abilities. He was also an arrogant and obnoxious man with a high regard for his own show and little regard for others, including his fans. One Halloween night he rudely dismissed Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers by claiming that dogs like Scooby weren't allowed to watch his act. In response, the detectives sneaked into the show anyway and exposed Krudsky's frauds, causing the audience to leave in anger and disappointment.
That night, the enraged Krudsky tried to come up with a way to get revenge on Shaggy and Scooby and ended up finding Fairy Princess Willow, who had ventured into the human world without her father's knowledge or approval. As Krudsky's book informed that a mortal who captured a fairy on Halloween could perform a spell to steal the fairy's magic, Krudsky managed to do this and, for the first time in his life, became able to perform real feats of magic.
After having her magic stolen, the distressed fairy sought help from the good wizard Mr. Gibbles, but even he was no match for Krudsky, who turned Gibbles into a rabbit and imprisoned Willow. Using Gibbles' magic mirror, Krudsky came in contact with the Goblin King, who demanded to have the Princess back. Krudsky told the King that he would release the Princess at midnight in exchange for the King's scepter.
After taking hold of the scepter, Krudsky was turned into the next goblin king and took command of the goblin army. He proceeded to turn the old king into a goose and tormented Fred, Daphne and Velma by turning them into monsters while waiting for Shaggy and Scooby to show up so he could get revenge on them as well.
Fortunately, Scooby managed to steal the scepter from Krudsky and turn everyone back to normal, after which he returned the scepter to the rightful King, who took Krudsky as a prisoner to the spirit world.
