Lapras is a Water/Ice-type Pokémon species whose appearance is reminiscent of a long-necked, almost tail-less plesiosaur with a hard shell on its back. A docile creature; its ability to be used as an aquatic mount has led it to become known as the "Transport Pokémon".
Sadly, they're an endangered species nowadays, having been hunted to near extinction in the past.
Some members of this species are capable of temporarily assuming a Gigantamax form when they Dynamax.
Biology[]
Members of this species are gentle and highly-intelligent creatures which understand human speech and enjoy ferrying passengers across the water. Some Pokédex entries suggest that they can even read minds.
Lapras is also known to sing an enchanting song and call out for others of its race in the evenings.
