Leafeon is a Grass-type Pokémon species and the result of an Eevee being leveled up in the proximity of a Moss Rock, to trigger its evolution into this specific form (as other types of conditions will generate different results). In Galar, using a Leaf Stone will also work.

Biology[]

As noted above, Leafeon's juvenile stage is Eevee: a Pokémon known for its highly-adaptable genetic structure, which can evolve into many different forms depending on environmental factors. Like all Eevee-derived Pokémon, Leafeon has a gender ratio of seven males to just one female.

Leafeon is a medium-sized quadruped, similar to a fox in shape. Its fur is cream-colored with some green patches resembling vegetation, and its eyes are brown. Its ear tips and tail are also green and closely resemble leaves, fitting its name and grass-type.

Like a plant, Leafeon has no need to eat and derives its energy from photosynthesis, purifying the air around it as a result. Its cellular composition is more similar to that of a plant than an animal, and it usually lives a quiet life in forests where clean water flows. Young individuals produce a smell reminiscent of fresh grass, whereas older ones tend to smell more like fallen leaves.

Contrary to many Pokémon species, Leafeon is not normally inclined towards combat. When it does engage in fights, however, it can sharpen its tail into a blade to defend itself.

Eevee has its own Z-Crystal which is called Eevium Z.

Some Eevee are capable of temporarily assuming a Gigantamax form when they Dynamax. They cannot evolve.
