Lindworms are a sapient species of long serpentine dragons, which can produce bluish flames from their mouths and nostrils.
In the past, members of this species have been employed by Elves to burn down contracts, as a contract destroyed by Lindworm flames will be rendered null and void, according to Elf law.
Biology[]
Lindworms are elongated creatures with antler-like horns on their heads, sharp teeth, and dorsal plates. They have only one pair of short forelimbs, and no hindlimbs. Although not anymore, roughly 15000 year ago, Lindworms had been equipped with a pair of wings and therefore indicates they were once capable of flight but became more adapted to land.
Culture and society[]
Nowadays, Lindworms are considered rare, and most have left Trolberg, although a female individual still resides in a small island in the bay, and tends to her precious garden. Lindworms aren't very social creatures, but seem to treasure plant species, and will accept plants not usually found in their habitat as payment for their services.
