Marcella is an extraordinarily powerful ghost witch and one of the thirteen spirits who have been imprisoned within the mystical Chest of Demons, until being unwittingly released by Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers.
History[]
After being released from the Chest, Marcella became trapped in the realm known as the Zone of Eternal Evil. In the real world, she manifested as a green mist and appeared before the Brewski Sisters: Wanda, Ernestine and Hilda; presenting them with the Black Book of Spells and instructing them to cast the thirteenth spell of the book at Stonehenge at midnight, so that she could be freed. In exchange, she promised the Sisters that their powers would be increased enormously.
