The Marine Dragon is an elongated aquatic reptile descended from the Prehistoric Dragons which escaped from the K–Pg extinction event by adapting to the sea.
A mutation resulted in it being the first dragon species with six limbs (four legs and two wings), and it would later return to land and give rise to species such as the Forest Dragon and Mountain Dragon.
