Marjory the Trash Heap is a living magical pile of discarded materials which lives in the Gorgs' Garden and delivers advice and wisdom (sometimes genuine, sometimes questionable) to the Fraggles. She is accompanied by her loyal rat-like friends and acolytes, Philo and Gunge.
In the beginning, she was just an ordinary trash heap who magically became alive after Philo and Gunge settled in and made it their home. When they left, she started to feel weak and to lose her vitality, regaining it only after the pair returned to her.
The Trash Heap has a psychic connection with the Fraggles and Philo and Gunge. She can sometimes feel when they're in trouble, and can even send messages to the Fraggles in their dreams.
