Matagots are spiritual black felines that appeared in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Overview[]
Shapeshifting creatures, the matagots served with the French Ministry of Magic for handiwork such as security of some departments. Although they were harmless, the felines will turn vicious when provoked.
They have the ability to shapeshift including normal cats.
They appear to have emaciated, slimmer black colored bodies, sharp talons, pointed ears, and large blue eyes.
