Merfolk hatchlings.
The Merpeople are a race of telepathic, sapient ichthyoids that were once slaves mutated from humans centuries ago by the Y'Lyntians with bluish skin, webbed limbs and dorsal fins, they also possess not gills which enable them to live onshore.
While it's not known if Merpeople speak verbally, they communicate telepathically just by touch and appear to be immortal.
