Miranda's Subterranean Creature was created by Miranda Jory for the spotlight challenge of the Face Off season 5 episode "Subterranean Terror". It is a mutated humanoid mole rat.

While she was sketching this creature, Miranda claimed that it "could have been mutated from the chemicals leaking down into the soil". It was a top look with the judges praising the sculpting and the paint job. Miranda won the challenge for her work on this creature.
