Mire Squids are giant cephalopods that lived in the lakes of Skull Island.
Overview[]
It appears to be a squid like creature except it's much larger. They live in the lakes of Skull Island where they will wait for something coming in its territory. Like other real octopodals, the giant squid exhibits deimatic behavior when threatened, exposing a thick cloud of black ink that is heated within the furnace-like temperatures of its mantal chambers.In Kong Skull Island when King Kong was looking at his wounds after the fight with the helicopters and drinking from the lake then he saw the Mire Squid waiting to attack before dragging it out of the water and fought it then he killed it by stomping on the head and eating some tentacles and grabbing the body to eat later.
