Behind the Scenes
Universe The Last Remnant

The mitra are one of the four main races in The Last Remnant.

Mitra are The Last Remnant's equivalent of humanity, and are deeply involved with the Academy and each of the nations of the world. Most nobles, as well as soldiers and general population in the explorable regions of the game are mitra, and they are known to be well-balanced between the different arts and crafts found around the world.

The Marshalls[]

An ancient clan that shared their appearance with the standard mitra were the Marshalls, who were infamous for their mysterious powers[2] and disappeared from history with the age of the Imperator.[3] Unlike any other race, they did not need to focus an object to use mystic arts[4], and used a long-forgotten ancient ability called magick.[5] With said abilities, they were said to have developed many fantastic techniques[6].

In Marshallton, an old settlement of the clan, a special Marshall tablet was discovered[7], with the power to convert remnants into wearable talismans[8], of which form can greatly vary.[9] Remnants in talisman form do not have to be bound, and can be used by anyone.[10] They are also unable to trigger Collapses, unlike regular unbound remnants.[11]
