Queen Morbidia is a demonic spirit regarded as one of the thirteen most powerful ghosts in the world, and was imprisoned for decades in the Chest of Demons before being unwittingly released by Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers.
She has a monstrous spider-like pet named Griswald and acts as a leader to the Associated Federation of Crazy and Irresponsible Monsters. After being freed from the chest, she promptly assembled the AFCIM and assumed control of the castle of Byron Befuddle.

Despite being identified, along with the other Chest entities, as a ghost, Morbidia appears and behaves more like a vampire, including the ability to turn into a bat and a lethal weakness to sunlight, which causes her to be reduced to ashes.
