This is an amphibious humanoid sea monster which is known to inhabit the waters surrounding Murro Atoll in the Pacific Ocean, about 800 miles off the coast of Chile.
Biology[]
Its body appears to be covered in seaweed or something that resembles it - possibly for camouflage - and has a number of fleshy tendril-like protrusions.
At least two individuals of this species have been observed; which diverged enormously in size, as one was scarcely bigger than a human being while the other was as large as a submarine. A possible explanation for this would be indeterminate growth, which causes an animal or other lifeform to grow until they die although the growth rate usually slows upon reaching adulthood. This is fairly common in aquatic lifeforms.
The creature is known to be attracted to sounds of some ultrasonic frequencies, and reacts with great hostility when it hears them. Its body is vulnerable to tranquilizers at first, but quickly develops a form of immunity, suggesting that it might have an incredibly effective immune system which works much faster than a human's.
