Musharna is a Psychic-type Pokémon species originating from the Unova region. Its juvenile stage is called Munna, and evolves to Musharna when exposed to a Moon Stone.

Biology[]

Members of this species are medium-sized, tail-less, mammalian creatures. They have short legs with no digits, and a pointed snout resembling that of a tapir. The snout contains an oval mark from which they release a vaporous substance known as Dream Mist, which is a by-product of their metabolism. These Pokémon feed on other creatures' dreams, and cause the sleeper to forget those dreams as soon as they've been consumed. Pleasant dreams cause them to release pink-colored Dream Mist. Their primary means of locomotion is levitation.

Munna[]

Munna

Known as the "Dream Eater Pokémon", Munna is a pink-colored creature, almost spherical in shape, with flower-shaped patterns on its skin, and oval red eyes. The rare shiny variant is yellow, rather than pink. Munna is drawn to people and Pokémon who are suffering from nightmares, and alleviates their sleep by consuming those nightmares.

Musharna[]

When exposed to a Moon Stone, Munna evolves into its final stage, nicknamed the "Drowsing Pokémon". Its body is now purple in color, while the head remains pink. In the rare shiny variant, the body becomes blue instead. Its eyes are typically kept closed, and it's usually seen emanating Dream Mist, the color of which is said to vary depending on the dreams it has consumed.
