Nekara is an evil demonic spirit and one of the thirteen most powerful ghosts of the world, who were imprisoned for decades inside the mystical Chest of Demons, before being unwittingly released by Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers.

She takes the form of a seductive female and can hypnotize any man to immediately fall into her enchants. The only downside is that these hypnotic powers only work on Friday the 13th. Her touch can absorb the life out of living things (such as a rose) and also absorb the magic of those who are wizards.

After escaping from the Chest of Demons, she planned to use her abilities to steal the magic of exceptionally skilled wizards, including Victor Voudini and Vincent Van Ghoul. She can also mimic voices perfectly and raise the spirits of the dead.
