Nokis, known as the Sea People, are a sapient species of aquatic creatures which inhabit Noki Bay on Isle Delfino. They evolved from shellfish in coral reefs and still wear colorful seashells as clothes and decoration. They're described as a timid but highly intellectual species.
Biology[]
Nokis are short bipeds with smooth skin, oval-shaped black eyes and a fish-like mouth. Their hands are shaped like mittens, with an opposable thumb but no other digits, while their feet are toeless. Their skin colors include yellow, orange, brown, beige and pink. They wear multicolored shells as clothes and headwear. Males may also wear shells on their faces that resemble mustaches and beards.
