Ogra is a sea monster and Gorgo's mother. She appears in the 1961 British monster film, Gorgo.
Overview[]
She appears to have most of the same traits as her offspring Gorgo, except for being much larger than him. When Gorgo was captured by the fishermen in an island off the coast of Ireland, Ogra attacked the humans and swam towards London. As the British military were unable to stop the creature, she rescued Gorgo and swam back to the sea with him.

- The monster's name is very similar to another kaiju, Orga, from the Godzilla franchise.
