The Orangu-Men are intelligent human-orangutan hybrids created by Dr. Mystico to be his aides and servants in a mysterious island where he conducts his experiments.
History[]
Shunned by the scientific community who believed him to be mad, Dr. Mystico became a recluse and lived in an uninhabited island. He created his Orangu-Men servants by injecting human DNA into the island's native orangutans, and later kidnapped extraordinary individuals such as Freakazoid, the Lobe and Leonard Maltin, intending to use their genes to create a new generation of super-powered Orangu-Men and take over the world (or possibly just Cleveland). Fortunately, Freakazoid and the others teamed up and managed to escape the island in time.
