Prometheus Black, aka Meltdown, is a scientist who experienced on mutating people into monsters including himself.

Overview

A business rival, Prometheus Black felt obsessed with creating an organic transformer which forcibly led him into capturing several subjects in a failed attempt. Black later mutated himself into an acidic humanoid creature after he discovered a fragment in Bumblebee, where he therefore assumed under the name "Meltdown", he used his new form to try and get vegeneance on Isaac Sumdac but was then stopped by the Autobots who trapped hin in a forcefield. After somehow escaping and made base on an island inhabited by the Dinobots, Meltdown used them as his own slaves to kiddnaped Professor Sumdac's daughter Sari so he once again try to fulfill his goal and when he was busted out of prison by the Dinobots under the loyalty of Blackarachnia who demanded that he help cure her of being part organic where Prometheus Black seemingly meet his demise as he melted away. However, his body later began to reconstruct.
