The Rapide (Amphimorphodus longipes) is a cursorial predatory rat which inhabits the temperate grasslands of the Earth about 50 million years in the future.
Biology[]
Like its larger relative, the Falanx, the Rapide has adapted itself to a fully carnivorous diet. Compared to the Falanx, it has a more slender build, complete with long neck and legs coupled with a highly flexible spine that gives it great speed. It can reach up to 100 km/h.
