Universe | James and the Giant Peach |
The Robot Shark is a minor villain and appeared in the 1996 film, James and the Giant Peach.
Overview[]
It appeared to be a mechanical shark with turbine-like mouth full of sharp teeth and can fire out the harpoons to reel in the giant peach or cut the ropes that are tied to the seagulls that are carrying the giant peach.
Notes[]
- In the novel, they were huge groups of sharks that attacked James and the bugs, while the film doesn't include the scene. The reason for the change is unknown, but it is known that a single shark was easy to animate as it would have been probably very difficult to animate several sharks in stop-motion.
