Rock-Chewing Slugs are an unnamed species of subterranean slug.

Biology

Dwelling in underground places, they're usually pine-sized creatures, with white skin, blunt teeth, and spherical bulging eyes. They feed on rocks and minerals, plus can chew their way into the mountains with relative ease. Their appetite suggest they also prey upon living stone, especially since Trolls seem to be immensely terrified of these slugs.

While most of them appear to be rather small, barely bigger then a regular slug; at least one individual has been shown to be absolutely gargantuan in size. It's not known whether this is a particularly old or unusual case, or merely the adult form of the species, in which case the smaller ones would be considered juveniles.
