Roy's Subterranean Creature was created by Roy Wooley for the spotlight challenge of the Face Off season 5 episode "Subterranean Terror". It is a humanoid cephalopod and has been described as "the evolution of a squid". It was a bottom look but the judges didn't specifically criticize any aspects.

Notes[]
- This creature differs radically from Roy's original concept, which was going to be a large, multi-tentacled creature, "part worm, part octopus", and the actor was going to walk on his hands and knees to give the impression that the creature was non-humanoid. Sadly, the original sculpture mold had to be scrapped as Roy accidentally applied rigid polyfoam rather than soft polyfoam to it, rendering the mold unusable.
- The original mold was so large that Roy, Eddie, Frank and Tate could barely lift it with Tate joking that they could go canoeing afterwards.
