Rumpelstiltskin, also known by the alias Mayor Heart, is a warlord from a magic dimension who used his mind-controlling powers to brainwash people and create an army of minions, conquering several kingdoms and overthrowing monarchs in the process. He later passed through the Magic Mirror into our realm, which he hoped to conquer as well, and ended up becoming mayor of New York City. He was also responsible for giving Iron John his iron-based appearance and powers.

- Like all main characters in the film, he is based on and named after a character from one of the fairy tales collected by the Brothers Grimm.
- He is not the same as the Rumpelstiltskin who appeared in the 2018 sequel Avengers Grimm: Time Wars.
