They are red skinned tailless lizard like creatures with sharp teeth, a spine covered in eyestalk-like appendages. They are roughly 2.2 meters in length, possess opposable thumbs and claws that aid in climbing. They lack a digestive system, likely due to not requiring sustenance. The purpose of their respiratory system is to emit hallucinogenic gas, designated "AMN-C227", which disorients and causes memory loss in their prey. They also give birth to live young.

Their hunting method includes mimicking human speech, specifically that of humans they have heard speak previously, suggesting an amazing memory for seemingly non-sapient creatures.
