Salt-Lions are an aquatic species of large amphibious mammals which live off the shoreline near Trolberg.
Biology[]
Salt-Lions are massive coastal mammals with bluish-grey fur, external gills, a fish-like dorsal fin atop their spine, while their paws indicate they're more than capable to survive on land rather than underwater, and a long reptilian tail. They appear to be a social species, as they’re often shown in pairs or groups apart from being around their cubs, and are quite hostile towards most creatures plus humans. They seem to have a natural anxiety with the Rat King.
