Scorpius rex, a.k.a. E750, is a hybrid dinosaur species created by Dr. Henry Wu on Isla Nublar. Its creation predates that of Indominus rex and Indoraptor.
Deemed unfit for public exhibition for being too grotesque and dangerous, its behaviour was extremely unstable and it was placed in cryogenic stasis, but was accidentally released after the island's abandonment.
Unlike the other hybrids, Scorpius proved able to reproduce asexually, resulting in the existence of two individuals, which threatened the entire ecosystem of the island.
Biology[]
Members of this species are theropods with red eyes, an armored spine, and venomous spikes on their heads, arms and tail. They locate prey by infrared vision and are highly adept at climbing trees and leaping over high obstacles such as fences. Their hands and feet have four digits. They have raptorial claws on their feet and opposable thumbs which aid in arboreal locomotion. They've even been observed to drag food to the tops of trees to eat, much like leopards.
Behaviour[]
Deemed mentally unstable by its creator, Scorpius rex is an extraordinarily aggressive predator and known to attack everything in sight. Despite the two individuals of this species being mother and daughter, they were as vicious towards each other as they were towards anything, to the point of abandoning even the pursuit of potential prey to engage in combat. They're also attracted towards fire.
