Universe | Seaman |
The Seaman is a species of amphibious fish known for its ability to speak and human-like face. They are known to be great pets.
Biology
Egg
Their eggs contain numerous infants of their species, known as "Mushroomers".
Mushroomer
The Mushroomer stage is a parasitic blue orb-like organism. Unless it has a host to feed on, it will die after 4-5 days.
Gillman
Infant Gillmen will drink each other's blood until two of them remain. Like human babies, they can gradually learn how to speak, this knowledge can even be passed on a genetic level.
Podfish
This stage resembles the adult Gillman, only with a set of legs on its back. It is at this point they reach sexual maturity. When mating, the male podfish mounts the female and they link their reproductive organs together. After mating, the male will then die.
Tadman
This stage is achieved when an impregnated female podfish walks up on land to lay her eggs. After several moments of agony, she will lay the eggs and then die. The tadman has the appearance of a tadpole, only with the face of its predecessor. Like the Gillman, Tadmen will drink each other's blood.
Frogman
The sixth and final stage of the Seaman life cycle, the Frogman resembles a human-faced frog, as the name implies. Before leaving the Frogman will give its owner a new egg, so they start the cycle over again.
