The Seaweed Monster is a mysterious daikaiju from the depths of the Sargasso Sea.
Biology[]
The Seaweed Monster is a filamentous sea-dwelling abomination, with a body made out of seaweed and six grasping tentacles that it uses to immobilize opponents. However, it is most notable for its regenerating abilities.
According to Dr. Quinn's analysis, the Seaweed Monster's cells appear to be mutated and are highly energized. The ability of these cells to multiply quickly explains the monster's capacity to increase in size and regenerate from small fragments. These regenerated offspring instinctively seek out each other, to merge together into a single (and much larger) entity.
The Seaweed Monster is vulnerable to dehydration, and can be destroyed if left under the sun without water.
