The Shell Critter is a timid little shelled reptiles found in the kingdoms of Egypt. They are harmless herbivores but are often hunted for or by the upper class.
Slow, timid, and nonthreatening, Shell Critters are of little use. The bourgeoisie are known to use their shells as ornamentation. A shy, herbivorous reptile renowned for spending most of its life retreating inside its shell. Despite being fairly commonplace, excessive cruelty to Shell Critters has given them protected species status.
Unlike most creatures that Sphinx encounters on his journey, he is forced to purchase it from the local monster store, where he purchases one for 360 scarabs, the local currency.
