Sker Buffalos are aquatic bovines native to Skull Island.
Overview[]
They resembled huge water buffaloes, only much larger and had different features like: large branch like horns which could be varied for two or three, brown colored bodies covered with algae (probably due to their habit of staying in the water for a long period of time), and their backs shaped like corals which were suppose to help them camouflage in their surroundings.
Like real bovines, they were not always docile as they can be aggressive whenever they feel threatened or attacked. Their horns were proved to be their weapons in case of a confrontation. Despite this, they could be preys to Skullcrawlers.
Following the destruction of their island prior to Godzilla vs Kong, it is unknown if they were either extinct or moved back to Hollow Earth.

Notes[]
- When submerged, they resemble islands in the swamps and birds may have a chance to sit or rest on their backs.
- Kong appears to care about the buffaloes living in his territory, as shown when he saved one that was stuck by a fallen helicopter and fends off Skullcrawlers that killed one of the buffaloes.
- They might be the only herbivores of the island (besides the Skull Island Deer).
- The creature resembles a huge version of a Yak, but its horns resemble more to moose antlers and bares close similarities to Cape Buffaloes and Carabaos.
- Their appearances were inspired by the Forest Spirit from Hayao Miyasaki's Princess Mononoke.
