Spiderbugs are spider like creatures that appeared in the 2013 game Metro: Last Light.
Overview[]
They appeared to be mutated forms of spiders as a result of the Great War. The creatures appeared to be different in genders; Males have stingers similar to scorpions, Females have rounded abdomen much closer to the real spider. Despite being dangerous lifeforms, they're often being afraid of a light which would blinded them or kill them. They could be found in the deepest areas of the Metro where light cannot be exposed.
