The Swamp Beast, a.k.a. Spirit of the Swamp or Esprit du Marais, is a mysterious daikaiju that inhabits the swamps of Louisiana.
Biology[]
Believed to have been mutated by chemical pollution, as opposed to radiation, its origins are not known. Analysis has shown that its cellular structure has properties of both animal and vegetable matter. Some believe it to be not a mutation at all, but a supernatural creature that protects its native environment.
The Swamp Beast is a semi-aquatic biped with membranous webs and claws. Its diet includes alligators. It has orifices on its back from which it can spit out a sticky mud-like substance to immobilize its opponents.
