The Tastebud is a microscopic species of quadrupedal sentient organ found in large organism's mouths. They are pink in coloration like the color of the tongue.
Tastebuds are able to speak, but in a very simple language mostly in single words, many of which revolve around types of tastes people get when eating food.
- Sweet: a form of greeting, such as "hello".
- Sour: possibly a word describing the Puckerberry.
- Bitter: used as describing the emotion.
They also use other words such as "Salty" and "Savory", but it's unclear as to what kind of meaning they have to the Tastebud.
