The Brain is a sapient, genetically-augmented laboratory mouse who seeks to take over the world along with his cagemate and associate Pinky.
Overview[edit | edit source]
He's an intellectual genius and a skilled inventor. His stoic personality strongly contrasts with Pinky's goofy one, and he can be easily angered with Pinky at times. However, it has been shown that he cares about Pinky and enjoys his friendship. He also has an intense rivalry with the genetically-enhanced hamster Snowball.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- This character was originally based on animation producer Tom Minton.
- Although the main series takes place in the USA in the 1990s, some episodes are instead set in other parts of the world and other time periods. These include some periods in which genetic engineering would be quite out of place, such as the 1950s and even Ancient Rome.
- His voice draws inspiration from both Orson Welles and Vincent Price.
