The Crypt Keeper is the undead storyteller who presents Tales from the Crypt in all of its incarnations.
Description[]
He's known for his dark sense of humor and horror-based puns, and also has an ongoing rivalry with the Vault Keeper and the Old Witch. Interestingly, while his most well-known incarnation in the TV anthology is a decayed, zombie-like monster (as pictured on the page image), his original version in the anthology comic was much more normal-looking, resembling a tall middle-aged man with a large nose and chin and long white hair (though even then the Crypt Keeper referred to himself as a "ghoul", hinting at a non-human nature).
