Thranduil is the elf king of Mirkwood and the father of Legolas.

Overview

Like all the elves of Mirkwood, Thranduil shows his unpleasantness to the dwarves due to the fact that he accuses them for stealing the gems and the necklace of his late wife. He often appears sitting in his throne imprisoning Thorin and the twelve dwarves for refusing to help him returning his gems.

Notes

  • His name in Sindarin translates to vigorous spring
