Torgo is a monstrous humanoid who acts as an assistant to his creator, the mad Dr. Caliostro. He has superhuman strength and is extremely loyal to Caliostro, considering the doctor his friend and creator.
Personality[]
Torgo enjoys helping Caliostro at the lab and capturing swamp rats. He is enormously loyal to the doctor but becomes scared at the thought of being replaced and reacts furiously to it, intending to destroy the lab as a result. His speech pattern is simplistic, and he always refers to himself in the third person.
History[]
Following the destruction of the Metamorphotron machine; created to make ugly beings turn beautiful; Torgo is instantly transformed into an attractive female. When he sees her new form, Caliostro falls in love with her and proposes to her, and female Torgo accepts.
Appearances[]
- Timon & Pumbaa, s02e05, "Monster Massachusetts" (1996)
Notes[]
- This character was loosely inspired by the Monster from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
- He might have been named after the sinister Torgo from Manos: The Hands of Fate.
