Treebeard, a.k.a. Fangorn, is an elderly Ent who first appears in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. He along with his kind have been hunted by Orcs and forced to hide in shadows for years. He is said to be the oldest living member of his species, and possibly the oldest living denizen of Middle-earth, according to Gandalf. The Forest of Fangorn is named after him.
