The Mutant Scorpions are genetically-engineered giant scorpions created by the American military and intended to be used in war.
The original specimen, referred to as First Wave or Ts-eh-Go, was a humongous creature that rivaled Zilla Junior in size. The Second Wave, however, consisted of an army of cat-sized white scorpions, deemed easier to transport and feed, yet just as deadly. A Third Wave has been planned, but it's not known whether it was ever created.
Biology[]
Both the First Wave and the Second Wave are extremely venomous creatures which also have the ability to shoot corrosive acid from their stingers, to weaken the natural armor of foes such as Zilla Jr., allowing the opponent's hide to be pierced.
The original specimen, Ts-eh-Go, has been described as being as tough as a tank and capable of operating on multiple environments. The Second Wave, despite being much smaller, retains their acid attacks and can be distinguished by working in groups, as opposed to regular scorpions, thus making them far more dangerous.
