Venger is a demonic sorcerer who seeks to conquer the realm of Dungeons and Dragons, being opposed by the Dungeon Master and his pupils. He is assisted by the mysterious Shadow Demon and also has an arch-enmity with the multi-headed dragon goddess Tiamat.
Biography[]
Venger was originally the son of the good wizard known as the Dungeon Master, as well as the brother of Kareena, but was corrupted by the influence of the Nameless One. For a thousand years he has attempted to conquer the realm, but has been opposed by forces of good and by rivaling forces of evil. The former include Venger's own father and his six pupils from Earth; whereas the opposing evil is represented by Tiamat, Venger's greatest adversary and the only creature he actually fears.

- Although canonical, the backstory of Venger being the son of the Dungeon Master was only hinted in the series and never officially revealed due to the final episode being unfinished. However, the script of that episode ended up being enacted as an audio play.
