A Vodyanoy featured in Face Off.
The Vodyanoy, a.k.a. Vodník, is a mythical species of lake-dwelling humanoids from Eastern Europe and Russia. They are usually described as looking like an old man with fish-like or amphibian-like features, which may include green skin, gills and webbed hands. They're also typically portrayed with long greenish hair and beards, and fiery red eyes. In some depictions, they may have a fish tail, similar to a Mermaid's. In many traditions, the Vodyanoy is recognized as a dangerous creature, and often deemed responsible for drowning people and wrecking havoc.
