The Waspeater (Vespaphaga parma) is a species of small, arboreal dinosaurs which evolved in an alternate timeline in which the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event never happened. They belong to a new lineage of theropods known as the arbrosaurs, which evolved to live on trees.
Biology[]
Waspeaters are small, green-colored theropods and possess a long, tubular snout. They inhabit equatorial rainforests in the African continent and, like their name suggests, are specialized insectivores which feed upon wasps. They possess long claws to climb trees and to help them attack wasp nests. Their bodies are entirely covered in thick overlapping scales which confer efficient protection against the insects' stings. They're also distantly related to the South American Pangaloon.
