The Water People (as they call themselves) are a sapient oceanic humanoid species which inhabit the sunken city of Atlantis. They evolved from humans, and developed ichthyoid features to survive the sinking of their homeland.
Biology[]
They are tail-less humanoids with scaly green skin, gill slits and webbed five-fingered hands. Interestingly, they've become so adapted to the ocean depths that they can't survive close to the surface, as they require a certain pressure to be able to breathe.
Culture and society[]
The Water People use bioluminescent fish as a source of illumination in their city, and electric eels to power up electric devices. They have domesticated whales for milk and giant squids for wrestling matches, which provide them with popular entertainment.
