Woolies are a mammalian species that appeared in Samurai Jack.
Overview
Woolies are large elephant sized creatures covered with thick brown fur, human looking eyes, long, and colorful noses which hang below their mouths. Despite being very strong beings, they are often timid, most likely a side affect of emotional and physical abuse by their captors, the Chritchellites which they have been enslaved for decades before Jack came and learned that the alien slavers tortured and treated the poor mammals like animals, so he freed one of the Woolies and the duo destroyed the orb, freeing the mammalians which allows them to fight off the aliens and send them back to the stars and never to be seen again. They also appeared again in the fifth season where two of the species confront briefly with Ashi, only to find out that she was not an assassin and was on the search for Jack.
After Aku's death, it is unclear if the species would exist without his tyranny.
