Overview[]
Biology[]
History[]
Notes[]
- The woolly mammoths stampeded in a herd while real mammoths never stampeded together. Mammoths also couldn't gallop like horses, cause of their physiology. At best, they could move at a fast trot, like modern day elephants.
- The mammoths were not that imposingly huge in real life.
- They were also domesticated as pack animals, while the real ones were never domesticated.
- They only lived in cold, northern areas of North America and Eurasia. They never would survive in deserts.
- Characters refer to the mammoth herd's lead bull. Mammoths were headed by a matriarchal female, a lead cow. Bulls never lead the herd.
- They also built pyramids, which they never did in real life.
