Tallulah

As Tallulah.

Zimbulu is a demonic spirit and one of the thirteen ghosts who have been imprisoned in the Chest of Demons for being considered the most dangerous ghosts on the planet; until they were all unwittingly released by Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers. He is capable of disguising his appearance and teleporting.

Biography[]

After being released, Zimbulu enlisted the help of Bogel and Weerd to try to steal the Chest of Demons from Vincent Van Ghoul and the Mystery, Inc. gang. He planned to open the Chest on the night of the winter solstice, due to a prophecy stating that whoever did so would have all the power in the universe.

When Scooby and his friends were about to be interviewed by Boris Kreepoff in the show Believe It or Else, Zimbulu disguised himself by assuming the guise of Kreepoff's assistant and medium named Tallulah, and planned to steal the Chest when the lights went out, but was beaten to it by Kreepoff himself, who had his own reasons to steal the dangerous artifact.

Appearances[]

  • The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, s01e13, "Horror-Scope Scoob" (1985)

Notes[]

  • Like the Time Slime, Zimbulu is inexplicably able to open the Chest of Demons, even though it has been explicitly stated that only mortals could do so. A possible explanation would be that it is possible for a ghost to open the Chest in the night of winter solstice specifically; whereas in the Time Slime's case it might have to do with his control over temporal phenomena.
